It's always best when our products are tested for use in a specific sector and to get independent views on the quality of our products. Heated clothing is becoming popular amongst amateur astronomers so when we were asked to send some products for testing for the next edition of  'Look Up' magazine, we were more than happy to oblige. This weeks sees a second large consignment going out to Moscow as sales in heated clothing continues to rise in Russia. Following a news feature that went out on Russia-1 TV, the interest in blazewear continues to rise. You can see the video here Russia-1 feature

International dressage rider Paul Hayler  www.paulhaylerdressage.co.uk with the blaze heated horse rug. Paul has become a big fan of heated clothing and the heated rug and has found the rug to be of great benefit to his horses. Paul told us the following when we spoke to him at his dressage training centre in Chelmsford. "When I was introduced to the blaze heated rug, I instantly saw the change in the horses before warming up on cold days. The horses that previously were slow to start the warm up would be visibly ready to go after wearing the rug for short periods and we really noticed the difference in them."

Yesterday there was a news feature that went out on Russia-1 TV as the concept of heated clothing continues to generate interest in Russia. Business in Russia is really starting to pick up since the introduction of heated clothing last winter and we will shortly be sending out a new consignment of gilets, insoles and gloves and we are not yet out of October. The Russian market is a huge market for heated products and the potential for the brand is enormous.

We have sent garments and gloves to be included on the gadget show winter special feature due to be filmed at the end of this month so will post updates as soon as we know more.

The diving world was not something that was envisaged for blazewear but our garments have proved a real hit under dry suits. We developed the new G6 heated sports vest as our most lightweight and versatile garment to date and this was designed to be worn under just about any outer garment from ski jackets, to fishing jackets, riding outerwear and diving dry suits.

This weeks see a delivery going out to Belgium diving company Galacia Technical diving http://www.galicia.be/ who we are sure will have great success with the garment.

New stock arrived this week in Moscow ready for the winter and can be seen on our Russian site at www.blazewear.ru   We think that our heated gloves and our brilliant new G6 heated vest will prove very popular in a Russian winter. This is the second year that our clothing has been selling in Russia and we hope that this market will grow significantly as the people of Russia discover the benefits of our heated clothes.

Just wanted to say I got the gloves!
Thanks very much. I just had a look and a quick play with them and for me they now seem to be spot on! They're less baggy than the last version, which means they now feel like the original pair I had.

Huge snot wipe on the thumb is great, wrist strap is now perfect length and easier to use thanks to the rubber tip and the fact that it pulls against the loop. Battery pocket is WAY better than both versions and looks so much neater. Slightly confused as to why both clear windows don't sit towards the inner wrist to make it easier to view, but that's really a minor point and sure you have a good reason for this design. I haven't tried them with the heat on yet, but I'm sure it's going to be as good as the original, but now with added thumb warmth?

Even the aesthetics are perfect now...black is always best, reflective looks good and there is a good amount of it, and even the logo on the strap looks better, and not too bold.

From what I can see they have been worth all the work you've put in.

I'll get back to you once I get a chance to try them properly...I had to take them of after 2 minutes in the house as my hands were too hot. :]

Aug 2010 - Our first Heated Fleeces

The new ladies and gents heated fleeces launched in the UK Aug 2010. There is also a new deluxe body warmer in khaki green for the country market and a new plain black rider gilet. All new garments contain the latest EXR-10 heating system containing the latest carbon based heating elements.

All our gloves have been upgraded to include the new 5 finger heating elements and insoles upgraded to provide more heating.

Jan 2010 - blazewear fetaured on BBC East Midlands News

Following the long cold spell giving rise to the coldest winter in 30 years, the BBC were interested in the concept of heated clothing running a news feature to bring to the attention the benefits that our range of clothing give.

December 2009 - blaewear first Exihibition at the Olympia International Horse Show

Our clothing proved to be very popular at the show and there was much interest in the blaze heated horse rug and the rider gilet which sold in large numbers.

Oct 2007 Our first heated winter sports gilet

UK's top showjumper, Di Lampard is the first lady in the UK to wear the eXuro
International showjumper and British National coach Di Lampard joins us by endorsing the new eXuro. Di can be seen wearing the eXuro at her Spring Farm training facility along with her new Blazewear heated jacket.

Launch of 'blaze' rug
October 2007 will see blazewear officially launch the new ‘blaze' rug, the world's first heated horse rug with controllable portable heat, at the Horse of the Year Show at the N.E.C., Birmingham.

Developed for top show jumper Di Lampard, the rug will be on sale at the show so come and meet Di and blazewear and feel the rug!

Blazewear enters America

Dec 2005 - Blazewear Launch
Blazewear launched on 13th December 2005 and was featured on local radio station Derby Ram FM on the Dino and Pete show. Look out for Dino and Pete wearing their new Blazewear Body warmers when they are out and about broadcasting in Derby. You'll also recognise them by their luminous green Blazewear hi-viz hats!
